Summary of Duties: 
Create reports for the purpose of performing audits/chart reviews to determine the Center’s corporate compliance status; HIPAA Privacy Officer. i.e., processes releases of information and maintains appropriate logs; perform some quality improvement duties under the CEO’s direction; assist Service Records/Practice Management Supervisor upon request. In role of processing releases of information, employee must strive to maintain good public relations with internal and external customers, including law enforcement, court officers, etc. regarding the legalities of releasing information. Ability to read and interpret regulations to ensure we are in compliance. Demonstrate the ability to understand billing codes and determine the type of documentation required to match the billing code. Employee must function in compliance with all organizational policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations and observe Ethical Standards and Confidentiality Standards at all times. RHIT preferred.

Will manage and coordinate a caseload including initiating planning for home visits or other contacts with clients in an effort to meet treatment plan goals. Assess patients using systematic approach to establish a plan for patient care and implement reflecting pertinent physical and psychosocial problems. Coordinate staffing issues during shift including new employee orientations, staff training, etc. Assume responsibility for implementation of adult and adolescent care policies and procedures. Conduct admission interviews, provide leadership in crisis management, and patient medication and mental illness education. Position is day shift, however, it may be 8hr or 12hr shifts with minimum of every other weekend coverage obligation. Also required to work rotating holiday schedule. Summary of Duties: 
A case coordinator establishes a therapeutic alliance with the client, works with the client to complete assessments and tools to determine level of care and need, assists the client in learning life skills that will enhance their quality of life and monitors psychiatric social functioning to ensure safety in the community. This can include but not limited to: (a) meeting with the client on a scheduled basis to assess current functioning and to teach skills, (b) providing assistance on behalf of the client, as needed in linkage with entitlements, service agencies and the medical community and (c) jointly developing a treatment plan and regularly assessing progress in achieving those goals.
